Das Erdgeschoss der Bar Barbette in Berlin Mitte wird in eine zarte Nebellandschaft verwandelt. Bar-Besucher sind knietief von Nebel umhüllt oder beobachteten von einer Balustrade des zweistöckigen Pavillons, wie die Architektur im Nebel versinkt. Im Obergeschoss wird eine Liveübertragung der Nebelinstallation projiziert. Körper- und Raumgrenzen lösen sich auf. Durch die gleichzeitige Videoübertragung findet eine räumliche Verschiebung statt, die an Desorientierung im Nebel erinnert.
The ground floor of Bar Barbette in Berlin Mitte is transformed into a gentle landscape of mist. Bar guests are engulfed up to their knees by fog or from the two-storey pavilion’s balustrade observe the architecture being immersed in mist. On the upper floor, a live broadcast of the fog installation is projected. Haptic and spatial boundaries dissolve. The simultaneous video transmission gives rise to a spatial displacement, reminiscent of the familiar disorientation in dense fog.
